THE LESTER PRIZE | DEMENTIA WORKSHOP

Lines on a page
Is it possible to recreate the human face, using the humble pencil and one line? Renown art therapist, Jackie Lewis will guide participants on a journey of continuous line expression. Personal style and expression will be supported and encouraged in this unique workshop. Suitable for beginners wishing to try their hand at drawing, and those more experienced in the medium.

Date: Tuesday 26 November 2019
Workshop: 10am – 11am
Guided Tour: 11.15am – 12pm
Important note: AGWA will be closed this day, so access will not be possible through the main doors at the front of AGWA. Come to the Education Studio via the AGWA Administration Building side entrance on James Street (opposite the WA Museum).

This program aims to enhance well-being and mood, plus support independence in a comfortable environment. By harnessing the power of creativity, these creative and fun workshops and tours aim to improve residents’ social engagement through reminiscence, conversation and self-expression. Suitable for those living with dementia and their support persons.

This event is brought to you by The Lester Inc in collaboration with AGWA and Mind The Change Inc through the kind support of the Rowley Foundation.
