Session Title: Finding Form—the charcoal portrait
Description: This workshop will focus on creating a portrait from life, in charcoal. Different charcoal mediums and techniques will be explored, and how to use them in drawing the structure and form of the head; rendering the planes of the head and adding tonal value; expressing character and emotion.
