Session Title: Tonal Drawing in Portraiture
Description: This session will examine how tone can be used to make portraits appear more three-dimensional and realistic. Tone is a fundamental part of drawing and participants will learn skills in blending and creating contrast as they work from a photo of an eye that will be provided. The drawings will be done using graphite and white pencil on grey paper so mid-tones, shadows and highlights can be explored.
