The Lester Prize for Portraiture 2019 Finalists will facilitate a series of engaging workshops for the public.Get inspired as artists teach valuable skills and provide insights into the creation and stories behind their works.

Artist: Andrew Nicholls—Finalist 2019
Session Title: Portrait Drawing
Description: Popular Perth-based artist, Andrew Nicholls will provide an introduction to his art practice and idiosyncratic approach to portraiture, while sharing a number of techniques he has refined for drawing with archival ink marker pens. Workshop participants will learn and practice a number of drawing styles, including the use of stippling to create a photo-realist effect.
