The composition projects a sense of warmth and understanding combined with a quality of reserve. Whether the viewer is standing close or across the room the intensity of Morley’s gaze is clearly felt. Nafisa has captured the photographer’s intelligence and curiosity which are both brilliantly portrayed with no distractions such as colour.”
