JORDAN ANDREOTTA – TONAL PORTRAIT DRAWING | PORTRAIT DEMONSTRATION | 10AM-12PM
This session will involve a live portrait demonstration using pencil, pastels and charcoal on paper. Jordan will be working from observation to create a portrait drawing for this session. The focus of the session will be on how to accurately capture tone, textures and forms within a portrait. Jordan will explain the techniques used as he creates his portrait drawing.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Jordan Andreotta is an artist and teacher of the Visual Arts. He specialises in a range of mediums including drawing, painting, digital and mural art. Jordan holds a Bachelor of Arts (Art) and a Diploma of Education. Jordan takes his influences from many of the great masters including Da Vinci and Caravaggio as he is interested in capturing tone, shape and form within his portraits.

Witness a portrait emerge from the page as Desiree Crossing uses mixed media to first build structure, then refine the shapes and capture the energy of her live sitter. She is happy to explain her process and answer your questions during the session.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Desiree Crossing is a Perth based artist, specialising in Portraiture. She is a member of WA Portrait Artists, her work has exhibited extensively throughout Australia and Europe, and is held in collections around the globe.
